Millions Face Reduced Social Security Checks in 2010
It's not any new nefarious plot, but a combination of circumstances that have never happened before could cause millions to see a reduction in their Social Security benefit. The likelihood that Social Security annuitants won’t receive a Cost of Living (COLA) increase in 2009, coupled with Medicare Part B increases for some eligible (but not others) likely will cause many Medicare-eligible folks to see a net reduction in their 2010 Social Security checks.
