7. Ignorance Is NOT Bliss
The worst culprit for keeping you in debt is not knowing where your money is going. Make it a priority to keep records of where and how you spend your hard-earned cash. Make a repayment plan and have set goal-dates for paying off debts. Without these tools, it's far too easy to stay in debt. You can purchase accounting software, make a simple (and free) spreadsheet on your computer or even work it out with a pen and paper; just make sure you make a long-term plan for regaining control of your finances.
Debt may seem like a life sentence, but it doesn't have to be. The number one tip for maintaining financial health is awareness. Be aware of your money and where it goes each month, and be aware of the options available to you. There are easy ways to help alleviate the stress on your finances and move from red to black, and the rewards are more than just monetary.

This is me. I don't know where it all disappears to!

Tuition fee, recreation, food, transportation, clothes, shelter, and other unnecessary things that is not intended to buy but this give contentment to me. It’s very difficult to make a decision regarding with money. That’s why we really have to be efficient and sufficient in everything. Efficiency is the relative amount of work (effort, expenditure) it takes to produce something.  Low efficiency means you're losing money, but you will somehow anyway.  Making your business efficient in money, without having to cut corners on quality, will mean you never have to repair credit with clients.

Daycare! It costs more than the mortgage for a lot of people and more than a car payment for almost everybody.Yes, my kids are my most valuable possession and worth the expense, but I wish the tax breaks for childcare were higher. $3k is just not enough. I spend $10k in daycare for just one kid each year. Imaging those with two? Yikes!

Daycare is astronomical. And they wonder why moms don't always go back to work. It's just not cost effective for many families unless you have a high paying job! The government needs to make it a percentage of your costs too rather than a flat $3K because it varies so much from state to state. What you pay $10K for, someone else may get for $8K or $12K. It would be fairer to say you can claim 80% of your total childcare costs for example. Wouldn't that be nice rleahy! :)

Welcome to billeater, btw. Sorry! I'm always behind the times. :)

Thanks, bringmeroses! It's tough because what I pay is actually cheap for my area. In the city they are paying 1/3 more! Everything in the northeast is more expensive. I think what I pay would put someone in Florida out of their home.
"And they wonder why moms don't always go back to work."
I think this is a big reason why women's wages are lower than men's. It's natural that an employee whoputs in more time with a company would get better pay and women have to take at least six weeks or so off for a kid. I had to quit my job to get six months off with my second.
In England they get a year off with pay. Now that's family values!
