I sent my card last week because when I get busy, things slip my mind and I knew this week would be. The family's used to me either being early or late and never on time LOL. What are you all doing? I hope it won't break anyone's budgets.

I asked my Dad what he wanted and he said fishing line and a new spinner. Fishing line! What a gift. I sent him a check so he could buy it locally himself. How am I supposed to know what kind to get? I wouldn't know a spinner from a spanner.

Promise me you'll hang a spanner from a rod and come back and tell us how many fish you caught LOL. ;) Zoey, your dad likes it! That makes it a great gift and you'll know he'll use it. :)

That's right! I hate gifts being wasted and I hate when they don't tell me what they want and say "surprise me." You always run the risk of it being a disappointment. I always ask for what I want. Weeks ahead too so there's no getting something I don't want. :)

LOL, it's great he has a hobby Zoey. I gave mine the same thing I gave him last year and the year before that. New tomato plants for his garden. :)

My dad insists that we don't buy him presents for Father's Day. He never asks for anything except to see you. He says the greatest gift you can give him is your presence, not presents.
