I stumbled into here and some of the price cuts are high. I'm looking at a 68% one for The Sweet Hereafter (New Line Platinum Series), down from $18.99 to 5.99 and a Disney Pictionary DVD game cut from $27.54 to $15.22. That's 45%!

The TV series DVD sets are excellent value. There's 50% off Smallville (5th Season) and One Tree Hill (Sixth Season one and Fifth Season one available ) for $18.99 each and Nip/Tuck has 40% off @ $22.49. All were originally $37.99 or $38.99.

I'll be ready for the Free Shipping Day that big name companies take part in this year. Mark your diaries. December 17, 2009. 2008 was very successful for the retailers that joined and I think will be much bigger in 2009. I don't think the companies that didn't join in last year realized how much press coverage there would be and how fast the idea would be embraced by the customers.

Many Blu-Ray movies are cut between 38-42% today. I'm too old fashioned to have that yet. They would make good gifts. I love the Free Shipping Day! It's an early Christmas present.

That's a fantastic saving. When I see price cuts as large as that I wonder how much the retailers mark goods up by when they can sell it so cheap and I assume still turn a profit. I wish I had the $700 to spare. I wouldn't get a camcorder with it LOL.
