Hundreds of well-known online stores like Barnes and Noble, Staples, and Overstock.com have a place within their shopping cart for a "coupon code" that gives a percent or dollar amount off your purchase. If you don't know the code, you can't take advantage of the discount. You can find these secret discount codes and coupon codes listed on many sites across the internet but the problem with these sites is that they're usually personal homepages and they don't maintain their lists! Currentcodes.com has a full-time staff of trained individuals whose only job is to find new coupon codes and discount codes and verify the accuracy of the existing database. We don't flood you with ads and we don't throw deals in your face. No hype, just current codes.
Thanks, pennywise! I have so many bookmarks I need to organize and now one more LOL. :)
There's a site called Coupon Mountain too which has coupon codes and printable coupons. You can check what's there by store or by product category.
Couponchief has online coupon codes. It's got a nice clear layout and a video tutorial as well. They also have a cool thing called pays-2-share where if you upload a coupon to their site, every time someone uses it, you get 2% of the sales by check or PayPal.

Interesting! The Couponchief FAQ says "Your Pays-2-Share cash will be available 30 days after any transaction made through your coupon is reported to us. You must also reach a $25 account threshold to request payment." Once requested, "Payments will be processed on the next business day following the 1st and 15th of each month."
So you may have a wait to get it and to build enough cash but feels like a good deal. You can also get the credit even if you upload a coupon and use it yourself apparently. Not all stores are included in this program though. There's more details on the page.
You can add CouponCabin to this thread, http://www.couponcabin.com. That has a local coupons option where you put your zip code in.
http://www.dealigg.com is another one for your list, pennywise. :) Thanks to you all for adding these.
rleahy I think might be interested in this since she was asking about finding deals. I thought I'd highlight it again in case she shops online. Hope it's useful, rleahy! :)
Thanks for the bump, Kay. I didn't see this before myself. :)

Pennywise, thanks for that link. I do my best to find these and up to date ones are harder to get than you would think. I've bookmarked it. :)
