Next time you're starving, head for the flower bed instead of the fridge. Here's 42 flowers you can eat. Do you have any of these in your garden?

Since my yard's not fenced I wouldn't want to. I'd not know whose dog had piddled on those flowers before! :)

 Good point on the dog piddle, but you know, a dog could have piddled on the stuff in the fields before it made its way to the grocery store. Birds poo on everything too. Just wash them first. Of course, just because you can eat something, doesn't mean you will want to. I don't care for the smell of flowers, doubt I would like the flavor either.

I may never eat anything homegrown again. Freezer meal aisle, here I come! LOL. :)
