That is a very good idea. My neighbor's little girl is only five and she has asthma and allergies to deal with. I feel sorry for her when she has to get her inhaler out. She would love this book! Thank you purplerain. :)

Aww, that's a shame. My nephew had asthma when he was young. He grew out of it. She might do the same frazzledmom. Thanks purplerain!

Asthma seems much more common now. We have so many pollutants and allergens I shouldn't be surprised though. Don't get me started on air quality LOL. Thank you, purplerain. :)

Purplerain, I need to tell you the little girl was THRILLED with this book! It came in on Friday. When I took it to her and her mom explained to her what it was about, her eyes went wide and she exclaimed with a big smile " She has asthma just like me???". Then she said politely, "Thank you for the book."

(Pauses and stares at me hard.)

"You need to go home now so Mom can read me my book." LMAO!! Her mother was so embarassed at her trying to rush me out the door but I laughed until I cried.

It's a lovely book too! :)

Ha! You can always count on a kid for a laugh. No adult understands the meaning of total humiliation until they have one of their own and are within earshot of them LOL.

Ain't that the truth! Prospective parents should borrow kids for a full day out in a crowded place, just for the experience of seeing how that works. :) It's cool that she was so thrilled with it.

Savannah, every time she sees me now she says "I like my book!" Before I even get a hello, that pops out. :)  I'm so glad she wasn't disappointed once she read it.
