That's excellent, wow. I'm good on the computer as long as everything's going like clockwork. When something goes wrong I don't know where to begin to find answers.Thank you Kay.

Thanks from me too Kay. It'll be nice to have a starting point. Normally I'm all over the web and spend more time looking for reasons as to what's gone wrong than the fix itself takes.

I'm glad you liked it! I'm not bad at all on the computer if it's problems you can fix in a few steps but when it becomes complex, I'm lost. I read the Microsoft updates and am often none the wiser when I finish reading them than I was when I started.

I think I'll drop by and try them out. My computer's got very noisy recently and I don't know what to check. Thanks for the link, Kay. :)

Take the cover off it bringmeroses and see how dusty the inside is. That's a common reason. The fan could be weighed down with muck and dust. My own gets filthy with pet hair and I need to get a can of compressed air to clean it out now and then.

Mine was so bad the last time I took the cover off there were cobwebs inside it. I'm not joking! You really do need to get that cleaned out bringmeroses in case your computer overheats or it's roasted computer for dinner.

LOL. You make me feel good. Mine had dust, but not cobwebs! You scared me there talking about overheating so I checked it.
