I don't know why some people look down their noses at Suave. I think it does the job just fine and the Professionals range is every bit as good as the high dollar equivalents you'll pay twice or three times the amount for. Brand snobbery, that's what it is.
What's high dollar today will fall out of favor in time when something perceived as better comes along. I remember when VO5 wasn't a cheap shampoo. It was mid-range in price and now you can pick it up for about a dollar a bottle. The shampoo's probably not changed. It's the buyers that have. They don't see it in the same light as they did before.
