I found you guys because I used to post on MSN's Frugal forum.  I wasn't a regular, but I used to check it out at least once or twice a week.  I love going to frugal sites to get all the ideas available for saving money.  I think the best way to learn is from others.
I'm married, have three grown kids, and I have one granddaughter.  DH and I are probably about ten years away from retirement.  We live in the middle of America and we have a small house and live within our means.  Our only splurge is to go to Texas to see our grandbaby.  I love to garden, tend the yard, sew, cook, quilt, learn about gluten-free cooking, and do almost anything around the house.  I work in a pre-school.   Been around awhile, but always open to new ideas!

Hiya gram2bri! It's wonderful to see you join our merry band. Welcome! :) I love gardening too and used to raise a vegetable patch but since I moved house I haven't found a decent spot for it. Are you a veg grower or a flower grower? I never have much luck with flowers at all really but can grow some pretty good tomatoes! :D

It's nice to meet you gram2bri. :) I bet we can learn a lot from you around here. I've always wanted to quilt but it looks so hard to do! I'm jealous that you can do that. ;) Welcome aboard.
How old's the grandbaby btw? Congratulations on being a grandparent.

Hi gram2bri and thordog too! Good to meet you both. I'm always looking for new tips too and this is a good place to find them. I hope you don't keep all your best ones to yourself! ;)

Gram2bri,  I also love getting myself out in the muck. Having all those kids around will keep you young. :)
I saw you like gluten-free cooking. How easy or hard are you finding that? I have a friend who recently found out he has celiac disease and has to start learning about gluten free foods. He's quite depressed by how many foods contain it that he won't be allowed to have.

Hi gram2bri! You sound busy busy busy. :) I'm just learning and love seeing people who are better at it than me come here and share. Don't hold back! I'm getting there slowly thanks to everyone here and all the information.
Hi thordog! I hope we can help you out there too. Is there any one thing you were wanting to find out about most? :)
