Hi cheapncheerful! Thanks for the link. I'm always delighted to save a penny or two any way I can. This is excellent because we use PapaJohns at least once a month and there's a coupon for up to five free toppings on a cheese pizza. It's one of the little treats we allow ourselves and cheaper than us all going out to eat. We want our pizzas loaded!
That's good to hear you both liked it. The way I look at it is you're going to be buying things anyway and any discount is better than none. It only take a minute to search the site which makes it a good habit to get into. Unfortunately I'm yet to find a way to not spend EVER. LOL
I was there today and the forum said that Overstock.com's giving free shipping as well with their sale items. Overstock.com's a good site. The variety's great. You can find all kinds of household goods there discounted if you're in the market for that kind of item. It's only valid until Monday.

One of the news site suggested today that you should hang on until the first week in January instead of buying this week. The logic was that all the returns would be back on the shelves by then and you'd get the pick of the unwanted gifts. You take the chance that the deep discounts could have vanished by then but from what the retailers reports are saying, I think they're be as good if not better that week.

I've heard of this site but not tried it. When I was looking through what was there I saw they'd had an offer that was sent via Paypal to order online at Walmart.com and get $20 back if you spent $50. The offer had expired December 15 but people had commented it did work and the $20 was credited back to their PayPal account within a few days. Can't complain about a saving as good as that! Thanks for mentioning this.
