Special Offers and Rebates from ENERGY STAR Partners
To encourage customers to buy energy efficient products, ENERGY STAR partners occasionally sponsor special offers, such as sales tax exemptions or credits, or rebates on qualified products. Partners also occasionally sponsor recycling incentives for the proper disposal of old products. The search below is provided as a service to consumers to find such special offers or rebates where they exist, based on information that partners submit to ENERGY STAR.
Enter your zip code below to find out if there are any special offers or rebates currently available on ENERGY STAR qualified products in your area.

The zip code rebate locator's good! I checked all and this was what I got. Thanks Zoey!

That's good to know Zoey. Thanks! My fridge is making a suspicious whirring noise and I'm ignoring it in the vain hope it will stop and come back in about June instead LOL. I seriously don't need it to die on me anytime soon.

You're welcome Jewel. Major appliances are major in one way - their cost. Could be that it just needs dusted round the back. At least you might be able to get a discount through these programs if it does die, or even a secondhand one might do.
Jewel if your fridge does die on you like you say it might, don't forget about freecycle. You could get lucky and find one being given away.

There's also the federal tax credits that are discussed at Energy Star. That's a page that gets updated and you need to check for the most recent version. It was last updated Sept 14 2009.
