I didn't know you could do that. Thanks for the tip, billeater. Does that refer to your main hot water tank or if you just have one of those wall mounted water heaters? I would love to cut my water heating costs - all my utility costs in fact..
I was really disappointed this month because I was very careful with how much I used the AC and it was no different than the month before! I feel your pain Zoey.
greenmachine, maybe your utility company estimated it. Ours does that and we end up getting a credit at the end of the year. I puzzled over the same thing when I knew I'd tried hard to watch what we were using with our AC. It turned out that was why.
I'm scared to look in my water tank cupboard. It's so old it's probably leaking and right now I can't handle another expense. I have bills coming out of my ears. Out of sight out of mind.
