Some of the specifics have been changed to protect the inept, but they’re proof positive that the economy isn’t solely to blame for today’s horrendous employment statistics. Feel free to use any of them.

I just couldn't let it pass when I saw we were at 5000 posts exactly when I got here tonight! Jewel made the last one so I guess the honor goes to her. :)

Here's to another 5000 more. I love it here and want to stop and say thanks to you all for making billeater a wonderful place to hang out. My free stuff pile would be nothing without you LOL. :)

I don't know if I adjusted something on my computer by mistake ( which I do all the time) or if it's changed. I like a bigger font actually. :) It only seems to affect the text box when I'm typing.

Is that a new favicon?

Or do my eyes deceive me? :) I think that new one stands out much better than the old favicon did. I have loads of them all in my Favorites and that catches your eye very well. :)

FYI, I just cleaned up a lot of spammy posts in the forum.

A little advice for the folks who had their posts deleted...

If you take the time to actually participate in a discussion, I won't get fussy about a link in your signature promoting your site. You help us by joining the dicussion, we help you by allowing a tasteful promo for your site in your signature spot.

However, if it's clear that all you are doing is promoting your own site, don't bother. The posts won't stay up long enough to help you.

I thought this was pretty cool. WIVB, Channel 4, in Buffalo, NY, has a segment called "Lindsay's Links". Lindsay features different websites on her news segments, and billeater.com made the cut today.

Looks like it was on their evening news, and there's also a feature on the website. Lots of new visitors from Buffalo today...which is great.
