It will then prompt you for your password, and let you check your voice mail just like you are on the cell phone. Don't Call 411 for directory information ... get 411 for free.

Calling 411 from either your home phone or cell phone will hit you with additional charges from your carrier.

A great way to save money is to choose a plan with fewer minutes.

For example, say you use around 500 minutes per month and you are on Verizon’s 900 minute plan and pay around $60 excluding taxes, surcharges and other fees.

It would be cheaper to choose the 450 minute package and talk a little less. You'll save $20 per month or $240 a year.
